Acquiring scientific thinking and specialized knowledge to broadly apply psychology in society
Psychology is both a scientific inquiry into human behavior, and a practice that tackles various issues in humans and society by utilizing these findings. To use psychology in the real world, one must gain a wide range of specialized knowledge. The Faculty of Psychology provides a foundational education to become professionals who can apply scientific thinking and specialized knowledge learned through psychology in various sectors such as general enterprises and experts who demonstrate skills in various fields like medical, welfare, education, judiciary, and industry by also undergoing postgraduate education. This is done through a structure of curriculum composed of four course models: "Human Science", "Industry & Society", "Counseling", and "Developmental Support".
