Education, a comprehensive discipline concerning the essence, purpose, content, method, and systems of education, is becoming an empirical and practical social science pursuing educational and childcare phenomena from various aspects, with increasingly interdisciplinary tendencies. Various issues arising in society and at school sites cannot be resolved unless education collaborates with neighboring disciplines. In this department, with the aim of fostering educators and researchers sincerely addressing the essential issues of education and childcare, we have established a unique educational system.
